Für den 16. April kündigt das britische Quintett ihre neue EP „Funny Felling“ an. Um schon mal einen Vorgeschmack auf das zu bekommen, was sie uns nächsten Monat liefern, ist ihre Single „Play Pretend“ ein ziemlich tanzbarer Vorbote. Das in DIY-Manier gedrehte Musikvideo gibts obendrauf!
Nach ihrer gefeierten Debüt-EP „I Am Not Me“ im letzten Sommer, ist „Funny Feeling“ der Beginn eines neuen, aufregenden Kapitels für Out Of Love. Was hinter dem Song „Play Pretend“ steckt, erklärt Sänger Jack Rogers wie folgt:
‚Play Pretend’ is about that self destructive urge to ’start over‘ not wanting to deal with your problems, traumas and life. Just wishing to press the ‚reset‘ button. I think we all feel like this at some point in our life…the idea of having a fresh start sounds appealing but unless you deal with those feelings and problems within your world those issues will follow you wherever you run.
